Panic! At the Disco

Planning for the disco is getting a little bit complicated, because we're trying to work out if it will be financially viable with all the changes that are having to be made. Ticket prices etc. Hopefully we will manage to get the planning under control by next week. It seems a shame that we have put so much work into a project we originally thought would be one of our main fundraising events, but now, although it is still a big event, we are unsure if the profit is going to be worth the effort when we take away the costs away from the total.

Hopefully we can think of some more fundraising events to do in March!

Update on how we're doing

Okay so we'll give you an update on how it's going so far:

Connie and I have raised an overall sum of £436 out of £7000

So for the first couple of months, we're very proud of that :)

Today we were interviewed by a family for babysitting and the preparations for the Valentines Disco are well under way. We've got all the chaperones we need involved and we're about to start work on the playlist. We've decided the ticket price which is going to be £5.

Also we are going to start a raffle sometime in the very near future for which we already have over £400 worth of prizes.
